Data sources that are accessed via JGate will have a non-RACF security mechanism. We will use ICSF rules to map application ID's and User Groups to the appropriate credentials for accessing JGate, but we cannot use this same approach for individual users that only have access to small segments of the target database.
|Who would benefit from this IDEA?||Support analysts would be able to verify SQL results without needing access to the entire JGate database|
How should it work?
Allow us to call JGate in a manner that results in a password prompt and then handle that prompt within DVM Studio.
