Protect ACI call with program granularity.

Currently you can protect ACI calls adding the resource ACI.Mapname to RACF class. The protection ACI.Mapname protects only the ACI services.

When we create a new ACI Stored Procedure we must specify the ACI service we want to use. Suppose we create a new ACI Stored Procedure called MyProg that uses an ACI service called ACICSRV; for the sample, the stored procedure MyProg is using the Input Map MyProg_IN and as out map MyProg_OUT. To invoke that stored procedure we code “CALL ACI.MyProg(…)“

We want to be able to protect the calls ACI.MyProg. Currently , when a CALL ACI.MyProg(…) arrives to DVM, DVM checks if the user has access to ACI.ACICSRV, but DVM doesn’t checks anything more. When we execute the stored procedure MyProg we see in TB something similar to

“CALL RPC STARTED - MODULE ACI.MYPROG” ; we have protected in RACF the resources:

RPC.MYPROG*

RPC.ACI.MYPROG*

DVSQL.MYPROG_*

But any of those accesses is checked by DVM

We propose that DVM checks the rights to execute the sentence CALL ACI.MyProg; for avoid any impact in existing applications, we also propose that this new check should be activated by a NEW parameter, for example CHECKACISPAUTHORITY with a default value of NO.

If the parameter value is YES, it means that DVM will also ask RACF about your rights to resource ACISP.HELLOGEN. We propose as resource name ACISP to distinguish the new access rights from the existing ones.
