Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) for Data Studio

Trying to implement Vanguard tokenless two factor authentication on IBM mainframe. When the userid and password are entered; Vanguard sends a RACF passticket via email or text message. The 8 byte passticket is entered in the 'New Password' field to complete the logon. Data Studio does not have a 'New Password' field. Request ID 97397 and 68645 also refer to 'New Password' capability.

Thank you for submitting this Aha! idea. Development reviewed it and determined the following:

    1. Data Studio allows user to put MFA token along with the password in the format: password:token, into the existing password field for the connection.
    2. Alternatively, we recommend users to use Db2 for z/OS Developer Extension for VSCode for Db2 SQL and stored procedure development, and the Developer Extension already offers a separate input field to take in the MFA token.
