Rebuild Index for Redirected Recovery based on TARGET environment

A Redirect Recovery was done from one db2 subsystem to another. The jobs all completed successfully, however when the application started to run, they received a 00C90206 - "Inconsistent data" error. It turns out our target environment had two additional indexes which were not in the source. These indexes were not rebuilt as part of the Redirect Restore because the Redirect Restore builds the rebuild based on the source environment.

We use Redirected Recovery for copying data between sub-systems.

I run object compare (my own developed) and exclude/fix mismatches (like index or table columns missing in target) before starting Redirected Recovery.

I agree that Recovery Expert should rebuild indexes based on target but not source.

This will save time and effort in fixing the index mismatches.
