There is currently no option available to (re)view the complete formatted Advanced SQL in an Automation Tool Object Profile.
The only option that is available is to view this SQL is using PF10 / PF11 from panel HAA£OPRU as 80 bytes or so at a time in one long string; this makes reviewing the SQL virtually impossible.
If Edit mode is used to review this SQL, there is the consequent danger of inadvertently changing it, impacting on scheduled production jobs.
|Who would benefit from this IDEA?||Customes wishing to review Object Profiles|
How should it work?
Most screens in the Automation Tool have a View mode distinct from Update mode, where changes cannot be made.
Panel HAA£OPRU should provide an option to View the Object Profile, with a full-screen option for reviewing the Advanced SQL in the profile
