We've been told a few times by IBM that by default, we should not start the Object Analysis (OA) function of Omegamon for DB2 at product startup. The main reason being it is too costly - CPU-wise - to run all the time if nobody will look at the data.
The suggestion is then to turn on OA whenever you need it, using OJIN command from classic.
And then it is up to the user to turn it off again whenever the function is no longer required.
That can easily be forgotten, leaving the function turned on when not needed.
Therefor this RFE: provide a way to start OA with an interval value after which it wil be turned off automatically.
This could be an option for the user to select from the ZOJIN panel.
Also, this could be parmgen supported option where one could select the default interval after which OA will be turned off, and still allow users to overwrite from ZOJIN panel.
