Allowing more complex boolean logic in LAT Miscellaneous Filtering.

The filter capabilities within LAT Misc. Filters are quite limited. Expand to handle complex boolean logic.

Who would benefit from this IDEA? All customers would benefit as it could be as similar to SQL WHERE syntax constructs of which DB2 applications programmers and DBAs are familiar.
How should it work?

On the LAT "Miscellaneous Filters" panel. It is limited to all "AND" or all "OR" filter operations. The more 'real world' situation generally requires multiple complex conditions to be expressed in order to get an accurate filter defined.

Filters should be considered similar to DB2 SQL predicates. Each filter type and value construct a single predicate and these predicates should be able to be compounded to be either more or less restrictive by allowing both AND and OR operations to occur. Something similar to constructing or resulting in the construction of a SQL WHERE clause. The greater the ability here can significantly reduce the amount of processing that may have to be performed to get the desired results. Especially in undo/redo type of processing.
