Currently, Cloning Tool does not support automatic database name translation for implicit objects. It successfully matched source TS DSN00001.TBAPCRAT to target TS DSN00170.TBAPCRAT, but there was no DATABASE translate rule that would allow source database DSN00001 to be translated to target database DSN00170 and this is the reason of CKZ61338E.
|Who would benefit from this IDEA?||ZKB as company would benefit from this. We are not forced then to use subsystem cloning which require to define large group of disk for each small test db2 subsystem.|
How should it work?
Cloning Tool obtains the correct target database name from the target Db2 catalog, and with CKZ61338E check removed, CKZ will use obtained target database name for an object for the rest of the cloning, including building target dataset names.
|Priority Justification||Our customer is really keen to work with already reduced db2 data originally derived from a production SAP db2 subsystem.|
