Currently the Db2 REST API supports authentication by user/password but not apikey. This means that programs cannot take advantage of service IDs and IAM. A real nuisance.
|Who would benefit from this IDEA?||Everyone seeking to automate the management Db2WHoC in the mot secure fashion.|
How should it work?
Folks who maintain the REST API source will know this. I am a developer myself, an IBMer and would be glad to make the enhancement if the source were made available to me.
|Priority Justification||This feature should already be in there. Let's get with it!|
