Please rebrand "SQL PL" to "SQL PSM" or "SQL/PSM"

Hi, as we know Db2 supports the SQL PSM standard really closely and in the only mainstream database to do this. However, your Knowledge Center is confusing because the name given to SQL PSM in Db2 is SQL PL.

Because Db2 also supports Oracle PL/SQL for compatibility, the similarity between the 2 names is confusing. It also makes Db2's procedural SQL sound like any other non standards-complaint database flavour.

I read a long time back in an online post, probably by Serge Rielau but I can no longer find it, that procedural SQL in Db2 would have been called SQL/PSM - but for the fact that the persistent modules part of the standard was not implemented in the first release. So we got the SQL PL name instead.

Who would benefit from this IDEA? Developers
How should it work?

Since things have moved on I suggest you adopt SQL PSM or SQL/PSM in the interest of clear distinction from Oracle's proprietary language, and to emphasise the standards compliance of Db2's language.

This would mostly be just a documentation update.
