Db2 Instance Owner group restrictions is causing issue to configure domain user as db2instance owner
Our security team is not allowing password for group user in Linux servers.
This is causing major issue for db2inst1 user as the tipds connection will fail if db2inst1 has no password. So we have planned to configure robot account as db2instance owner. But below mentioned restriction on db2instance owner group is not allowing us to make some 'n' account as db2owner. Could you please enhance the group restrictions a little. Our 'n' user primary group is "domain users". Restrictions which PMR team gave is as below
DB2 had some userid/primary group restrictions
1) we can not have space in primary group name/user name
2) primary group/user name cannot be longer than eight characters
