IDAA full support for column masking

Current support for DB2 tables with column masks is minimal. As column masking becomes more prevalent, the ability to access the data in those tables within our BI environment remains the same. Providing full support (i.e. loading all of the data and ensuring only appropriate access to it from queries) is increasing in importance and needs to be on the roadmap.

Db2 for z/OS APAR PH33061 delivered partial support, not the full support the Aha Idea was opened for.

Specifically it delivered support for a subset of queries that can be accelerated, i.e. queries that do not return the MASKed columns to the client application (thus, columns referenced in the outer-most SELECT list).

To my understanding, data should be loaded into IDAA in the unmasked form. After that, proper masking policies should be applied when executing queries in IDAA - perhaps achieved by creating the column masks in the underlying Db2 LUW engine.
