automatically cancel long running prepare Statements

Long running quieries can be cancelled automatically by setting parameter

MAXACTIVITYTOTALRUNTIME

Could a simmilar parameter be introduced for cancelling long running Prepare Statements?

As of now over parameter SQL_STATEMENT_PREPARE_TIME_WARNING_THRESHOLD only a threshold can be set for getting a warning when a long running prepare is taking place. There is no automatic cancel possible.

We have important Datawarehouse ETL processes ,with SQL and load on IDAA. running . If in parallel a Report/Statement is started that needs a long prepare time, it brings the ETL proceess to a standstill. Only after this Prepare Statement is cancelled, does the process move ahead. This happens also when a SQL Statement runs too long but for that we have the automatic cancel in place.

To avoid manual intervention( which takes long from alert to termination), would be efficienter if could automatically do a cancel.
