Version tolerance on the IDAA stored procedures & NPS Code

We find the lack of version tolerance on the IDAA stored procedures (especially on SYSPROC.ACCEL_UPDATE_SOFTWARE) and as well as on the NPS code extremely difficult during migration. We would like to see that fixed as soon as possible.

1) We should be able to use the stored procedure SYSPROC.ACCEL_UPDATE_SOFTWARE to transfers software updates from the hierarchical file system (HFS) on z/OS to an
accelerator (Appliance), lists available software versions, activates versions that are available on
an accelerator (Appliance), and removes obsolete software from an accelerator (Appliance) regardless of what version of the software we are using on z/OS.

2) Latest version of the NPS code is dependent on IDAA version and as well as on the hardware. This complicates the migration planning because of the lengthier back out process.

Toleration for multiple releases would make the process much easier.
