threshold "DATASPACERATIO" in SP SYSPROC.DSNACCOX

The Stored Procedure SYSPROC.DSNACCOX can be started with a
threshold for "DATASPACERATIO" to detect over allocations.
The IBM default is set to 2.

However if a tablespace or index with a small allocation are defined
(systablepart, sysindexpart ), 48 Kb or a track, and there are
very few rows available in that TS or IX, then the Stored Proc triggers
the involved TS or IX to be ALTERED with a REORG, because of the
threshold has been reached.
So these TS or IX are seen as over allocated, while they can not be
allocation with less space.

Should it not be better to start calculation above a minimum allocation,
or why not define a minimum allocation (lets say 200 tracks ).

The customer needs a new threshold, as low border with an IBM default
of at least 48k ( the lowest allocation ) to avoid REORGS to be triggered
on a Tablespace and Index with a minium of pages.

The coding the customer has to write to avoid this behaviour ( a bypass )
is far too mutch and is in conflict with the objective of DSNACCOX itself,
trigger of what was copied, reorged or runstat.
