ROTATE partitioned spaces with auxilary objects

Please consider strengthening the operations between base partition tablespaces and their XML/CLOB/BLOB counterpart auxillary tablespace such that an ALTER ADD partition on the base tablespace would result in a matching partition added on the auxiliary space. In addition to this, consider allowing auxiliary rows to be archived along with their base table counterparts under the ENABLE ARCHIVE" usage.

    Dear Jon, Thank you for submitting this enhancement request.

    This idea was marked as Planned for future release. That designation was too optimistic. Although IBM agrees with the desirability of this enhancement, there are no plans to deliver this capability within the next year or two and therefore it is being marked as Not Under Consideration.

    IBM will continue to assess the relative priority of this item and consider it for future delivery.

    We appreciate your input to the Db2 for z/OS development team. And we hope that you will continue to submit enhancement suggestions for improvements as customer feedback is a key component to shaping the future direction of Db2 for z/OS.
