modify dsntep2 to produce result set despite exceessive warnings

DB2 and IDAA do not produce the same results for the example in question. That has been explained and will be documented but we would like to see DSNTEP2 at least run and produce output instead of only returning SQL error codes (-171 in our example case) until the JES3 line limit is reached causing the job to fail.
Warning messages caused by the implicit DECFLOAT conversion done by DB2 due to the COALESCE and CAST in the SQL statement.
Due to the current design of how DSNTEP2 behave, the results of the query are cached until the query completes(but it did not
happen - the job was cancelled). Meanwhile, lots of warning messages are outputted causing it to exceed the limitation of JES output.

Thank you for submitting this Db2 for z/OS enhancement request. We have reviewed this request and believe it may a good candidate for the Db2 for z/OS product. However, it is not in our current roadmap and we are unable to deliver it within the next 24 months. Therefore, unfortunately, we will not be implementing this Idea.

We appreciate your input to the Db2 for z/OS development team. We also hope that you will continue to submit ideas for improvements as customer feedback is a key component to shaping the future direction of Db2 for z/OS.

    Sincerely,

    Db2 for z/OS Team
