SQL Data Insights - APIs for model retraining plus all other maintenance tasks available via UI today

Most enterprise customers do not use UIs at all outside of test systems, all production work has to be automated and scripted. SQL Data Insights requires the retraining of a model in case the data in the underlying table or view changed. So retraining of an existing model is a quite usual maintenance use case (e.g., retrain model xy every Sunday).

So this idea suggests to implement and document APIs which can be embedded in scripts / JCL to automate SQL DI administration. An API to retrain the model for a SQL DI enabled object, but basically APIs for all SQL DI related maintenance tasks which can be executed via the UI today, such as disable the model for an object, remove a model, etc. APIs could be made available via command, Db2 stored procedure, other.
