Add catalog information when a Compression Dictionary was created

The compression dictionary date created is currently not available to help identify the age of the dictionary. The age would also help to identify dictionaries create before upgrading to the latest release.

Thank you for submitting this enhancement request. Db2 for z/OS development has reviewed it. Although there are no plans to add a catalog column indicating when a dictionary was originally created, there are two other items which may assist in the management of compression dictionaries. The first is that DSN1COMP is being enhanced to operate against compressed datasets and thereby indicate whether recompression with a new dictionary would be beneficial. The second is that we are considering supporting a utility history table which could in future be used to determine whether KEEPDICTIONARY was used or not.

    Sincerely,
