DB2 LUW DBM CFG RQRIOBLK increase upper limit

When using DB2 LUW client to connect to the Z/os database using the IBM Datastage ETL tool the RQRIOBLK DBM parameter is limiting the packet size of data, this will happen with anyone who pulls data in any significant volumes using the DB2 Driver for LUW (running SQL queries).

The database is a DB2z Mainframe database at a remote location. We are in the process of moving this Mainframe from our local datacenter to a new one with a 20ms latency, and sending hundreds of megabytes over a pipe 64K at a time having to wait 20ms between packets is causing significant problems for us.

In my testing for this, I am seeing significant improvements when changing RQRIOBLK from 32K to 64K, and we have worked with IBM (refer to TS002279304 and PMR 48645,L6Q,000) to determine that all of the other components in the mix appear capable of handling much larger blocks of data (128K and possibly even up to 512K), but attempting to change RQRIOBLK throws an error that it maxes out at 64K.
