Provide a documented and supported procedure to generate ddl (db2look as SP - like db2lk_generate_ddl)

db2lk_generate_ddl is a stored procedure that provides functionality to generate DDL via SQL (similar to db2look which is a tool as db2llok cannot be executed througha SQL client tool. This function already exists but is not documented and I am not sure if it is supported yet.

This functionality would ease Db2 handling be not forcing the user to swtich to a command line which is not available in every environment for all users who could benefit from that function.

Easy working with Db2 as developers are used to such functions from other database vendors.

    It is amazing that there isn't a way to generate All DDL for a database or for a schema within a database when using Db2 on Cloud. Loosing the ability to bulk-generate DDL is a major time waster in a large database environment.

    Even better would be a (set of) SYSCAT catalog view that held the current DDL for each obeject type, and a SP or two that could output all your DDL in dependency order...

In the knowlegde center, there should be an article / page about the SYSPROC.DB2LK_GENERATE_DDL stored procedure that extract DDL without db2look.
