Existing accounting and statistics records can be used to monitor REST services by using REST product identifier or client info in each record
'HTP01010' for non-secure HTTP URL connections

I agree with Jim. This PRDID provides this detail and it is available from the accounting trace. (QWHDPRID)
The OM db2 performance table DB2PMFACCT_GENERAL has REQ_PRODUCT_ID mapped to this field ... so I find this info via that field
The OM thread history distributed history panel has field "Remote Product ID" to show the same information
It looks like the requestor wants this quantity of executions to show up in the statistics trace and then in the OM equiavalent places...
Also statistics showing the number of BIND SERVICE and FREE SERVICE commands has been requested by Ford.
I would like see statistics showing the number of REST requests like GETs and POSTS.
Hi. Janet. This idea seems to be related to adding support to Omegamon for Db2. But existing DDF metrics can be used to monitor REST services by the PRDID. The current PRDID value used for Db2 native REST services is:
* 'HTP01010' for non-secure HTTP URL connections
* 'HTS01010' for HTTPS/secure connections.
I would need to understand what more is needed. I would reject this idea and indicate REST can be monitoredg using existing DDF metrics aggregated by PRDID.
