WLM monitor and control total private sortheap usage

Concurrent private sortheap heavy queries run out of system memory and cause systems reboot.

ISAS 7700 environment with DB2 v10.1 FP4 on AIX. There are 16 physical nodes running 122 database partitions. The catalog node and coordinator are on one node, the reset of database partitions on are 15 nodes where each node has 8 database partitions. The concurrent sortheap heavy queries run out of system memory and cause 15 physical nodes reboot.

The private sortehap related configuration parameters are:

Sort heap thres for shared sorts (4KB) (SHEAPTHRES_SHR) = 5000
 Sort list heap (4KB)                         (SORTHEAP) = 50000
 Sort heap threshold (4KB)                  (SHEAPTHRES) = 2000000

The box has 256G RAM, about half is used by DB2 shared memory.

Need WLM to monitor and control total sortheap usage to avoid system outage.
