Db2 Warehouse Need support for columnar tables when case insensitivity is configured

System: IBM Integrated Analytics System
Actor: Customer requiring capability

My customer is migrating from Teradata to Db2 Warehouse (IIAS appliance). The appliance has been configured for Row-organized tables because case insensitivity is required. Case insensitivity is configured via:
"CREATE DATABASE test1 USING CODESET UTF-8 TERRITORY BR COLLATE USING UCA500R1_LEN_S2". This results in the following setting:
db2 get db cfg for test1 | grep -i dft_table_org
Default table organization (DFT_TABLE_ORG) = ROW

Normally when the appliance is configured for DFT_TABLE_ORG = ROW, column-organized tables can still be created. However, the collation setting which is needed for case insensitivity support is preventing the creation of column-organized tables.

My client's workload is 100% analytics (all star or snowflake schema), which BLU Acceleration was created to support. As more clients adopt the new IIAS appliance, the demand for case insensitivity with BLU Acceleration will increase.
