Db2 on z/OS client authentication with a certificate is done with the help of RACF and AT-TLS.
This is described on many places.

For example, see IBM Redpaper redp4799: https://www.redbooks.ibm.com/abstracts/redp4799.html

An end-to-end solution with Db2 and SAP is described here: https://www.sap.com/documents/2020/10/90ca5a5f-b37d-0010-87a3-c30de2ffd8ff.html

We also need this feature like in Db2 z/OS. There it is possible.

Yes, please! It's getting really embarrassing to explain that users need a password to connect to the database remotely. AIX and Linux admins are trying to move towards ssh-key only authentication for most users, and we always need exceptions for database users.
