RELATED IDEAS

make DB2_KEEPTABLELOCK more granurity like db2 z/OS

The DB2_KEEPTABLELOCK registry variable mimics part of the RELEASE bind option from DB2 z.

The former controls specifically table locks and only applicable to UR/CS isolations, and it is one setting for the entire database.

On the other hand, the latter has more granularity and can be different for each package, applicable to more than just table locks, and has other options as well.
