Ease use of ROS in high volume transaction system utilizing DGTT on Primary db

Trying to utilize ROS to offload reports and heavy queries from Primary Database.

Hence we should be able to scale the workload on the Primary, once these are moved away form here.

But does not work out for us.

Queries are getting forced off often on our ROS DB due to too running DGTT DDLs all the time, upon checking with defect support, this is working as designed.

Based on task-TS011806225, there is a possibility to further enhance in this area in the form of not considering DGTT as a DDL operation for the purpose of the HADR ROS feature.

Use the task as a reference to further aid this WAD feature enhancement request.

Maybe you could provide a db cfg parm for “DDL for DGTT to ROS avoidence logging” or t chnage priority for HADR replay log versus queries on ROS.

Anything that could help us to have this to work is appreciated.
