IBM does not support SSL communications for 2-phase commit (DB2 & MQ)

TS010796788 : DB2 - SSL - Two-Phase commit failures We are mandate to close unsecured connections to DB2 by closing the TCP/IP connections to DB2. However, we are using 2 -phase commit in between MQ and DB2, which looks for TCP channel opened. As per the suggestion in the IBM case, we open a port and allowing TCP/IP port; The risks of outsider coming to database using the unsecured port is still real ;

    The same problem applies generally, in our casse in between DB2 Windows and DB2 z/OS.

    Our regulations require complete transport encryption, which we cannot implement.

    Upon discussing with additional team members we will move this ticket to planned for future release. Apologies for confusion on status. As mentioned in the prior comment we will be implementing and provide documentation for how to achieve this functionality in an upcoming release. Initial movement was due to an misinterpretation on my part for how we do this. I have been corrected and will update the ticket as we move through delivery. Appreciate your patience and vigilance with this Idea!
