Make the Db2 jdbc driver available in public Maven repository

One thing I really like about open source databases is that they are so easy to start developing with.
In java for example, I can create a project add the maven details for the JDBC driver and I'm done. This makes things like DevOps so easy because the whole process can be automated.
With Db2 I have to create a service instance, manually login to the console, download the driver, unpack an archive, run an install script, locate the jdbc driver ...
Some proprietary databases like Microsoft SQL Server have already added their JDBC driver to public repositories.
Also, if I want to create a new BI, ERP, xxx shiny application and distribute it as a docker image, I can add the drivers that are already available in community repositories, but I have to think twice about making my snazzy app work easily with Db2.
