enable pureScale to support AD/VAS authentication and not require the presence of the instance owner id in /etc/password.

At Bank of America, we have strict standards and requirements for db2 authentication. We use Active Directory across the enterprise and use the vas tool from quest to access AD from the linux environment. We do not store passwords in /etc/password. We can not use pureScale in our environment for anything other than sandbox activities until this is supported for pureScale as it is for standard DB2.
