Add support AIX 7.1 for Db2 11.5.4

I support my customers system which runs DB2 ESE on AIX 7.1. We were on DB2 10.5 and upgraded this Summer to 11.5 which compatibility reports showed as a supported configuration. Now that we are looking at applying 11.5.4 fixpacks, I'm finding they are not compatible with AIX 7.1, rather only AIX 7.2. This puts me, and I presume potentially IBM customers, in a precarious position of being forced to migrate AIX which may not be an easy solution. Is the decision to qualify 11.5 fixpacks on AIX 7.1 being re-evaluated? That is, will myself and customers in this situation have future support for DB2 11.5 on AIX 7.1?

With Db2 11.5.4, we moved our minimum AIX OS support from 7.1 to 7.2 TL3 as AIX 7.1 has no plans to support Git LFS.

My product, PureData System for Operational Analytics, also has this challenge. This was released in 2015 and has a unpublished but targeted EOS date in 2023 and is based on AIX 7.1 with support up to Db2 11.1. Luckily we did not announce support for Db2 11.5 GA as we have several appliance related logistical challenges to update from AIX 7.1 to AIX 7.2 without our appliance for our customer base.
