Single Authentication & Authorization model

We will use this wpic to track only the SSO work.

  • SSO should extend across services in the platform: Contained within common connectivity epic (https://bigblue.aha.io/features/ICPD-811): Don't require credentials for services and databases within the same platform. . AKA

    • "connect as me" - Password-less auth with all internal services & major external services, including databases (especially via Azure-AD Hybrid auth)

    • "Use a secret" - Integrate with Vaults to store all credentials outside CP4D


  • Non browser-based authentication: zen user mgmt to extend authentication to AzureAD and other services for non browser-based authentication (non-sso). - When accessing with 3rd party services, negotiate using known credentials or token
