Recently, we have been troubled with long running URs. Because of this, all of our subscriptions failed with staging space memory errors. In this case we needed to modify the cdc agent with ENDUR command. However, this command can be entered for a specific subscriptions. We need to enter this command for all of the subscriptions one by one. This manuel process can be hard to track. ENDUR command for sub1 then staging space report for sub1 and then be sure the problematic UR is gone. Then continue with sub2, then sub3,... ect. In this environment, we have around 20 subscriptions so it takes around half an hour even though this case requires a sudden interference.
|Who would benefit from this IDEA?||All customers using CDC|
How should it work?
It would be very nice to have an addiotional modify command, like FORCEALLUR, or ENDURALL, which ends the specified long running UR for all of the active subscriptions at once.
