Build in Support for Teradata Temporal Tables

The current CDC product for a DB2 Linux implementation supports the use of DB2 Temporal Tables.  We can replicate data from VSAM, DB2 zOS, and IMS to DB2 Linux Temporal Tables without any extra effort.  Under a similar use case, we have instances where we would like the VSAM, DB2 zOS, and IMS data to be delivered to a Teradata target that is using temporal tables.  Temporal table support in Teradata would eliminate the need to keep archive tables with triggers on the main tables to track changes over time.  The main table would store the current record and the archive tables would contain the historical records.  This would allow for querying a smaller set of records if just looking for the current record versus querying all of history each time.   Our environment has a lot of IBM mainframe data sources feeding DB LUW, Teradata and SQL Server warehouse/analytics targets.

Ideally this request would extend beyond Teradata as well and be implemented as part of the SQL Server CDC product.  I can sense that may be next for use.  First and foremost would be to extend the capability to Teradata.
