We use InfoSphere Data Replication for z/OS Remote Source v. 184.108.40.206 and we have detected that the following properties are not displayed in the details of the DDF SUMMARY in the MAINVIEW monitor:
WORKSTATION USER ID
These parameters need to be visualized for the correct administration and allocation of Mainframe resources.
We open the following case for this situation TS003967148 and the laboratory has asked us to raise a new idea with this requirement since our Mainframe resource management team is based on these parameters for audit processes, currently as we do not send information to them parameters the resources assigned to the tasks raised by the CDC will be limited or even completely blocked.
|Who would benefit from this IDEA?||We as clients of the IIDR which is part of a transversal platform in our bank, in the future some other client that handles audit processes similar to ours.|
How should it work?
CDC should send the following information to the parameters:
WORKSTATION USER ID = user configured on the instance connecting to the Db2 for Z / OS data source in lowercase.
WORKSTATION NAME = Server IP from where the IIDR for z / OS Remote Source is connecting to Db2 .
Currently we do not have any workaround.
|Priority Justification||The impact has been shared in the description.|
|Customer Name||Banco Santander Tecnología México|
