Due to the current policy of SAP all customers are forced to migrate their current SAP systems to SAP HANA in the short or long term .
If they use their SAP Databases as IBM InfoSphere Data Replication sources, the migrated systems won't be supported by the tool.
In our case we would loose the opportunity to use most of our ETL routines and we would have to switch to another tool.
Because of that reason it is necessary that IBM InfoSphere Data Replication supports SAP HANA as a datasource.
|Who would benefit from this IDEA?||All customers who use SAP with IBM Data Replication as a datasource|
How should it work?
SAP HANA should be usable as a datasource by IBM Data Replication like all other SAP systems
|Priority Justification||If the current SAP systems are migrated to HANA the usage of Data Replication is not possible and we would have to search for a new replication routine or tools|
