DB2 z/OS Utilities support for CDC DB2 z/OS Remote source agent

The CDC for DB2 z/OS Remote Source agent doesn't hand and manage DB2 z/OS Utilities ( LOAD - RECOVER - REORG DISCARD ).  It would be nice to have this feature as the CDC for DB2 z/OS Local agent ( ONUTILITYACTION parameter )

    IDR 11.4.0.3-5582

Enhancements in IDR 11.4.0.3-5582 for Db2 for z/OS remote source

    • CDC Replication Engine for Db2 for z/OS Remote Source now handles Db2z Utility actions similar to CDC for Db2 for z/OS Native Source

    "

The software can take relevant actions such as STOP, PARK, REFRESH... if a Db2 z/OS utility action is detected.

So, the idea is to have the same functionality for the CDC for DB2 z/OS Remote Source solution.

CDC is not able to capture changes in DB2 z/OS logs coming from DB2 z/OS Utilities as they don't have the same format as SQL statements log changes. For this reason, the parameter ONUTILITYACTION developped for CDC DB2 z/OS Local solution only react to the fact that one DB2 z/OS Utility run against a replicated source table. So, even if a DB2 z/OS Utility runs with LOG NO option ( nothing logged ) it works. The DB2 z/OS Utilities concerned are only the utilities which affect data contents, I mean : All types of LOAD Utility excepted one : LOAD with SHRLEVELCHANGE - RESUME YES - LOG YES option which performs in reality SQL statements ( it can be captured normally by CDC) + all types of RECOVER Utilities + only one REORG Utility : REORG with DISCARD option.

Currently, different types of loading are carried out in Db2, loads with Resume, loads with Replace ... which do not leave logs, so we have these doubts:

1.- Is the CDC prepared to detect when some of these uploads are done on the tables that are being used by it?

2- If it detects these loads, is there an "automatic" process to replicate these operations? or what actions should be taken for the consistency of the data in the target, considering that carrying out an initial load of the table every time there is a type of load with RESUME or REPLACE is not feasible due to all the dependencies that this action implies?
