CDC engine for DB2 LUW : Getting support for range partitioned, MDC, RCT tables out of the grey zone

Since CDC 11.3.3 there is a documentation page in knowledge center which explicitly states that range partitioned, range clustered tables and partitioned table will not be replicated by CDC for DB2 LUW.

https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSTRGZ_11.3.3/com.ibm.cdcdoc.planningadeployment.doc/concepts/udb_supportedtabletypes.html

However, CDC 11.3.3 lets one replicate these type of tables (without the slightest warning) and it works flawlessly like it did in the past, so I am wondering why the specific statement is made that these table types are not supported.

Range partitioned tables for instance were supported since CDC 6.5.2
by setting the system parameter "range_partitioned_table_support" to true.

https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/en/SSX3HK_6.5.2/com.ibm.cdcdoc.cdcfordb2luw.doc/concepts/replicatingdb2partitionedtables.html

This functionality is still there under CDC 11.3.3 and working perfectly.

The current RFE is to make these table types officially supported again.

I have multiple clients using (or wanting to use) these types of tables in conjunction with CDC.
