Restore ability to apply the "Set as home" feature to folders

Please restore the ability to set a folder as home using the "Set as home" feature. Currently, this feature only applies to objects like reports and dashboards. This feature was available for folders in versions prior to Cognos Analytics.

This is the same as RFE99839 (https://www.ibm.com/developerworks/rfe/execute?use_case=viewRfe&CR_ID=99839), which was not migrated to this site.

At the risk of telling IBM how to solve this...
It should be possible to do this with two extensions like the examples found in SampleExtensionButtonFolder.zip and SampleExtensionContextMenuItem.zip.  The problem with the ...ButtonFolder... extension is that the folder is hard-coded in the spec.json file.  It would need to vary based on that user's "home folder" stored in the Content Store.  There would also need to be a menu item for folders that allows the user choose the folder as their "home folder" and have that setting saved to the Content Store.

I worked up an example of both extensions using a C# web service (generic handler) to set and get the value based on the user name and a text file for storage.  The problem I'm having is I can't get the "Home Folder" button in the nav bar to work because the documentation for themes and extensions is extremely thin.  But I'm sure some high-speed, low-drag IBM developer could get this done in under half a day.
