connect queries from multiple packages in a report

When you have multiple packages in one report, be able to connect them in the report. Now only possible by combining them in a data module: when you use two packages in one report, it is not possible to combine dataitems from one package with a dataitem in another. You cannot join queries, each based on a separate package. You also cannot use a prompt parameter based upon one package in the other package. If you combine multiple packages in a datamodule, this is all possible, but this requires extra steps and work. what we want is to be able to combine queries and prompts from multiple packages in one report in one reprot component: a prompt, a list, a graph, etc.

More than a report, this is required for building a dashboard because otherwise widget filtering doesn't happen

It would be beneficial also to join/union queries with multiple data modules in a single report (if it is based on data modules instead packages).

Our Medicaid customer has data elements in different packages, and we have to be able to pull this disparate data into a single report in order to replicate existing reports for their account. This is extremely important for us.
