Fix smooth line property for 11.1 visualizations

I would really like to use the smooth line visualization and/or property offered in 11.1 visualizations, but the way the lines are drawn sometimes just don't make sense.  I've attached an example of consecutive points being plotted on a time series and you can see three days in a row where the value = 1, but instead of drawing a straight line, the visualization adds a small "hump" leading the user to believe that there may have been an increase.  I understand that I am technically asking for a straight line setting in this instance, but this is not a typical example of what a user would see in my visualization where the smooth line setting actually works beautifully.

Also, I would imagine that if I had a negative scale on the vis, all of the 0 days would also have small negative "humps".
