This request has been delivered into Cognos Analytics 11.1.1.
Users can copy and paste from reports into dashboards.
As of now this feature would greatly improve the capabilities of CA11 dashboards because graphs in CA11 dashboards are still very limited and simplified version of what is available in Reports component.
