We have a dashboard where users can do a discovery for new business opportunities. The dashboard has many tabs where each of the tabs represent a use case.
We also have a report, which is on transaction level and the user can download it and use it as source of his/her action plan.
This report should be added to all tabs within the dashboard. However, this is not possible.
Currently we have to add the same report to every tab. Which means the workload time is the following
Total work time = Number of dashboards x Number of tabs x Number of reports (+ complexity/number of prompts)
In real time example we have 5 dashboards each has 5 tabs and 2 reports. The reports have in average 15 prompts to inherit filters.
Adding 1 report to 1 tab is approximately 3min.
5x5x2x3 = 150 min of net work time to assign only 2 reports for 1 employee.
Why is it useful?
|Who would benefit from this IDEA?||Developers who adds the reports to the dashboards and managing/maintaining the prompts would be easier. Furthermore the Clients, as they can receive the dashboards much faster.|
How should it work?
If we can have a check box to apply to all tabs we could reduce this process to 30 min! (example above)
