Most trivial function: SEARCH!

Cognos Analytics on cloud 11.1

1) I'm at creating a new report.

2) I'm at Report > Queries > Query1

3) when I'm adding filters to the query and I want to choose columns from the data module/package or whatever data source.

example: DETAIL FILTER EXPRESSION - Query1 (dialog panel)

At the source tab - if I'm using a fact table which has 100 or more columns it is impossible to find what I need. There is no search option and if I press a letter it doesn't jump to the right spot, it does nothing.

I need to add like 20+ filters for every report and I have to do this all over again for like 5 reports. It is the most annoying thing that I ever saw. Its like a torture that I'm not wishing to my worst enemies.

Hello, I'm testing with 11.1.6 and 1.7 and I'm talking about this part. You can't search within the data module when defining prompts for example.

    Hello,

For example, when you are creating a prompt on a report and lets say, you want to add a column to filter that is not in your data items, then you want to choose an item from the data module it self. When your data module contains 100+ columns than it is very difficult to find any of the columns. You need to scroll and find it manually. There are no search function or letter indexing or puting the column names in alphabetic order to make the search go faster.

Search is available above metadata tree. Can you please confirm the version you are testing with?
