Allow third party front-end application

Product is "Planning analytics on cloud", not "Cognos analytics on cloud":

We are currently working in the IBM Planning analytics cloud at our customers and trying to implement our standard solution “Apollo”. As we have our own front-end (MOSAIK), we need to run a separate windows server with an extra application server on it. This server needs to authenticate on TM1 via an XMLHttpRequest. As we want to use Security Mode 5 (CAM-Security), we need to send this request to the bi authentication server.
Now the request does not work because of the “same-origin-policy”, which should prevent cross-site-scripting.

If it were possible to send this request to the server, our front-end application would be usable with sec mode 5, so using PAX/PAW and MOSAIK parallel.

There is a huge chance to increase PA implementations ON CLOUD with this front-end, because it solves many problems our customers currently have.

We are not planning on implementing a product feature for Planning Analytics on Cloud that will meet this requirement. However, we do generate OAuth keys when requested so that 3rd party applications can use the IBM ID accounts to access the TM1 databases on our cloud with REST API calls. Please reach out to stuart.king@ca.ibm.com if an OAuth key is required.
