Chose color for different columns

We want functionality where we can choose color depending on some criteria’s.

Example

We have a column which contains information if the household is a partner, single men, or single women. This data will be shown in a pie chart were the size depends on the income. We want to set partner households as orange, men households as green and women households as yellow.

I create a color palette for my chosen colors.

When applying the color palette, I cannot choose which colors should be set for which . This means that we got the wrong colors since now partner, men, and women household is green, yellow, and orange, respectively
