Validate the prompt default selections and report views saved parameters on report run time for planning analytics packages

When you use planing analytcs as data source and package in reports, member unique names (MUN) are the identifier for PAL elements in reports.

For treeprompts there is a default value which will be saved in MUN format.

Also when you create report views from reports it would have saved prompt parameters (use values) expresed with MUNs.

In both cases (report view parameters and default values) it would be statically saved at the moment of report development or at the moment of view creation.

During the time MUNs are evolving as elemetns could be duplicated in PAL side of moved within the hierarchy. It means its still the same elements with same element ID but the element MUNS in CA would change.

Today as the default values and prompt values in views are static at the run time the prompts are not presenting correctly the elements and the default selection if there was a change on PAL side.

The MDX is adapted correctly but the view parameters and default values are defined statically.

To fix this there would need to be run time validation on the saved default prompt values AND/OR saved report view parameters to be presented correctly in the prompt UI for end users.

This is long term pain point in our application and even more visible with recent changes in Planning analytics server engine.

Ideally this 'fix/additional validation' would be activated via advanced parameter as it makes sense only for planning analytics data sources.
