Formatting on Planning Analytics not applied as default format in Cognos Analytics.

Problem statement: A solution was created by a US team in Planning Analytics with a set of percentages, the data was then vizualised in Cognos Analytics. We have user all over the world, and users have set the content language to their local langage. In this specific case the issue was found when a user had Swedish as content language. The percentage formatting set in Planning Analytics did not reflect in Cognos Analytics when the content langage was set to another language. The numbers were messed up and the users could not trust the solution they were provided.

IBM Cognos Analytics query engine (here: MDX) is not able to ensure that IBM Planning Analytic dimension formatting is applied in reports or dashboards. This was always the case for each of the query engine modes (compatible/ dynamic). To get the required formatting it's strongly recommended to assign it explicitly in your report or dashboard.

We were provided one workaround, using custom formats, which although is quite tiresome to manage, we also got information form support that the workaround may not work in all cases and we were suggested to add and RFE.
