Ability To Create a Data source/server connection to Dremio

we have some tenants who are connecting to Dremio via tableau. They want to move to cognos and are inquiring if cognos would connect to Dremio. I did not find Dremio in the drop down when creating a new data server connection or Data source connection. We want to connect via JDBC.

    Dremio connector is included with Cognos Analytics 11.2.1 release and will be available for 11.1.7 FP4.

    Dremio is key in our strategy to offer self-service reporting using cognos . This will enable us to decommission Tableau going forward. It would be great to enable Dremio in Cognos via JDBC.

    We are promoting Cognos Analytics as our main self service tool for business users . Dremio is an integral part of our strategy and self-service rollout . Dremio-Cognos connector will be required to increase Cognos adoption in self service domain .

    Dremio is booming as an efficient data virtualization layer that greatly optimize queries and democratize access to Big Data. Cognos 11 vision is also of a self service and access to big data. Dremio integration with Cognos might drive us to select another BI Tool.

    Dremio can function as a self service data hub. Be great to enable Cognos to Dremio. QLIK and other products already do so via JDBC.
