Conditional Formatting Slider Range

In the Dashboard module, a conditional formatting range can be set on a calculated column in a Table visualization. For example, say I create a categorical color palette for conditional formatting on a % range in a table. The range of the conditional formatting can be edited by 1% (1% --> 2% --> 3%). (EX: 0% - 10% = red, 11% - 25% = yellow, 25% - 50% = green).

The issue lies in the Story module. Utilizing the same approach as above, the slider on the conditional formatting range can only update the % by 100% instead of 1%. (0% --> 100% --> 200%). This completely limits the use of the conditional formatting for a Table within a Story because we cannot set an accurate range.
